The Cluster is excited to hold a competition for graduate student travel grants. If you are a UBC PhD or master’s student, you can apply for up to $500CAD for domestic travel or $750CAD for international travel. Please consult this document (Word/PDF) for terms, guidelines, and eligibility. To apply, complete page 2 of that document and submit materials as a single PDF to sound.humanities@ubc.ca. UPDATE: Please save your receipts, as Arts requires documentation of expenses!
Deadline: You may apply any time in advance of your presentation, or within one month (30 days) after returning from your presentation. Deadlines are October 15, 2023, and April 15, 2024, and we will notify winners of results within one month of the deadline. The last day to apply for this award is April 15, 2024, for presentations occurring before June 30, 2024.
Recipients are asked to attend at least two Cluster events during the academic year, and we invite you to share images and information to be featured on the website!
