Join a Community of Scholars
The Cluster brings together faculty and students who conduct or have interests in sound and audition to provide opportunities for critical and intellectual engagement. Affiliates constitute a community of scholars who are working to understand how sound and listening shape relationality, life chances, and experiences in Canada and beyond. The Cluster is a vibrant hub for highlighting the range of ways that sonorities and audition are being investigated across disciplines, as well as for considering how sound matters to understanding our dynamic social world, including natural and built environments. We highlight the works and accomplishments of Cluster affiliates on our website, social media outlets, and in the annual newsletter. Affiliates also receive priority consideration for Cluster funding. To become an affiliate of the Sound and the Humanities Research Cluster, please fill out the below form to tell us about you and your interests in humanistic sound studies, and to share details that will be posted on the Cluster's People page.
